-11700 DR in conflicts
- Second Crown War begins. Responding to Aryvandaar's aggression, conflict grows heated once more as Ilythiir assaults any that support the northern gold elves. Orishaar, a near neighbor and major trading partner with Aryvandaar, suffers a harsh surprise attack and quickly falls.[1][2][3]
- Dragons burn the southern reaches of Shantel Othreier, splitting off a forest later called the Wyrmwood.[1][3]
- Tethir, kin of Keltormir slays two red dragons single-handed, saving many elves of Keltormir and Shantel Othreier. This wins the elves some respect from the dragons.[1][3]
