- The Supreme Potentate of Var is killed by the Anwir Dupretiskava, a blue dragon disguised as a human. Anwir then purports to the ruler's distant cousin, and takes the throne.[1]

- Shradin Mulophor, Lord of Bones, undertakes an expedition into the Underhalls. He returns a different man, unstable and erratic. He loses much of the fear and respect he once commanded.[1]
1184 DR in conflicts
- Rhighaermon O'Antlers, a ranger and former nobleman of Waterdeep, successfully leads six other Mielikki-worshipers against Lord Lathamp of Elupar to retrieve Yornar's Trail Companion, a holy relic stolen from the ranger by thieves who'd sold to the lord.[2]
