- Lhestyn infiltrates the Shadow Thieves, the outlawed thieves' guild in Waterdeep. She exposes their crimes to the City Watch, and a tenday of battles ensue. Some Shadow Thieves are killed, while the remainder are forced out of the city.[1][2]

- The three volume My Journeys Around the Sea of Fallen Stars, written by Nelve Harssad of Tsurlagol , is published.[4]
- Mujibar the Foolish of Calimport wins a hefty sum of money in a card game against the dao merchant named Khan Zohrin-Ka. Furious, the djinni slayed Mujibar but still paid what was owed. Mujibar's coin-filled corpse became a local legend across the shady alleys of Calimport.[5]
