- The son of Arun completes his education under Mentor Wintercloak in Myth Drannor. He leaves the city with the stated intention of exploring and learning about the wider world, and in turn teaching the magics of Myth Drannor. He also aims to become one of the first Harpers beyond Cormanthyr and the eastern lands, and to prove his value to his father's clan, Maerdrym. He adopts the name Arun's Son, the only name he can be proud of, and vows to claim a place in House Maerdrym when he's earned a new name.[1]
