989 DR in environment
- Dwarven miners from Thunderholme accidentally expand their works into the lair of the shadow dragon Aurgloroasa, rousing her from her sleep. She dispatches the dwarves and caves in their tunnel to make it appear as an accident. She becomes interested in Thunderholme's operations and observes the dwarves via divination magic and spies summoned from the Plane of Shadow.[1]
Migrations in 989 DR
- Eldathyn priests fleeing their home in the Elven Court arrive in the Hullack Forest. These priests, carrying a relic called the Crystrum of Tranquility go on to purify the poisoned waters of the Wyvernwater in a ritual that claims the life of their high priestess.[2]
