An aba (pronounced AH-bah)[3] was a sleeveless, light fabric robe or cloak worn by men and women to protect against the elements, common to peoples from desert climes, such as Calishites,[1] Zakharans,[3] or the Bedine.[4][5]

VariantsEdit

A heavier, more expensive type of aba, called a jellaba was worn in winter[1] or at night.[4]
