Ala'i ibn-Hasim was a dwarven sha'ir within the Palace of the Enlightened Throne in Huzuz, the City of Delights, in 1367 DR.[note 1][1]
Activities
Ala'i was in charge of the Hall of the Treasury. His official title was Keeper of the Treasury. In order to prevent him from misusing funds, or betraying the Grand Caliph in other ways, Ala'i accepted a geas. Ala'i helped secure the treasury by placing paralysis glyphs throughout the building.[1]
