Allendry was the brave captain of the Midnight Rose ship.
Around 1370 DR, he took on some passengers at the docks of Neverwinter, among them the priestess of Umberlee Tasina Alcrest, an adventurer, and a wizard with a powerful statue artifact. In order to acquire the statue, Tasina summoned an army of sahuagin that slaughtered most of the crew, including Allendry, and took the ship.
Because of his hatred, Allendry wanted vengeance before he went to the Fugue Plane. So Allendry's ghost entrusted the adventurer with the captaincy of the Midnight Rose in exchange.[1]
