Aquamarine is a hard, transparent form of beryl, blue-green in color. Aquamarines are found throughout the North where their hardness makes them suitable gems for the northern barbarian tribes. A typical specimen has a base value of 500gp.[1] Aquamarines were favored by `the gods Deep Sashelas and Eldath.[2]
