The Ascension Hall, or the Golden Road, was located within the complex of the Palace of the Enlightened Throne in Huzuz in 1367 DR.[note 1][1]
Description
Ivory and alabaster statues flanked the main hallway which was lined with solid gold. The statues honored various heroes and legends known to the Enlightened Throne.[1]
Activities
This hall was reserved for special ceremonies including the annual honoring of the Grand Caliph on Ascension Day.[1]
Rumors and Legends
Khalil al-Assad al-Zahir had plans to honor the White Agate with a statue in the Ascension Hall.[1]
