Belladonna, or wolfsbane was a poisonous herb known to cure lycanthropy.[1]

If a victim bitten by a lycanthrope ate a sprig of belladonna within an hour of the bite, he or she had a chance of not contracting the disease.[1][2] The belladonna, however, had to be relatively fresh, not picked any later than a week ago.[1]

Belladonna was also toxic. Anyone eating belladonna was likely to find themselves weakened physically.[1]

Belladonna was also used in gas bombs invented by the Silver Stake lycanthrope-hunting organization.[3]
