Role in the StoryEdit
Bellany appears in Sea of Swords (novel) as Sheila Kree's ship wizard. After Kree is warned of a certain drow elf that is going to go after her she sends Bellany to get information about the previous owner of Aegis-Fang, Wulfgar. Bellany does so going to Luskan and asking Morik the Rogue, an old lover from back when she was an apprentice. She learns Morik has been visited by Drizzt, so she takes him with her to Sheila so her captain can interrogate him further.
While the pirates stay in their hideout Bellany becomes Morik's lover once again. When the Companions of the Hall storm the place she decides not to kill Regis when she has the opportunity to do so. She is then saved from being killed thanks to Morik, who saved Wulfgar's life, interceding on her behalf.
After Kree, her pirates and their ogre associates die she goes back to Luskan and lives with Morik there.
She joins the Host Tower of the Arcane, where she is placed among the lowliest members. When the battle for Luskan starts she is among those who choose not to fight captain Deudermont and serves Ship Rethnor with Morik. Morik sends her away to protect her paying Maimun to take her in his ship.
After the winter the four remaining High Captains of Luskan join forces to drive Deudermont away. Robillard fights the lich Arklem Greeth that attacks the Sea Sprite. After the battle, in which Robillard destroys the lich (but not his phylactery) Morik saves Robillard from drowning thanks to a Fly spell that Bellany casts on him.
