Benju Matsumoto was the daimyo of the town of Aru in Wa.[1]

Benju cared very much about his family, although in his youth he liked to take the most dangerous missions. He loved music.[1]

Benju was the daimyo of Aru. His hobby was acting in noh plays with his right-hand man Yuji Takaesu.[1]

Benju rose through the ranks in the shogun's army until around 1346 DR, when his valor permitted him to become the daimyo of his home city of Aru.[1]

In 1358 DR, he hired an adventuring party in order to stop the killings of pilgrims going to the local Shining Temple of Bishamon.[2]
