Physical description
Edit
Described as one of the most powerful weapons existing on Faerûn, the blade was technically a +5 two-handed sword (greatsword) that granted magic resistance when wielded.[1]
Uses
Edit
This powerful sword could be used to cast dispel magic. Carsomyr was extremely devistating to chaotic evil opponents and also dispeled their magic whenever it hit.[1]

Edit
In Baldur's Gate II: Throne of Bhaal, Cespenar could combine Carsomyr with the Eye of Tyr to make it a +6 weapon.[3]
