Cedarsproke is an independent city and druidic stronghold located in the Vilhon Reach. The Cedar River flows through the middle of the city, dividing it in two. The city's position along the river draws some mercantile activity, although the majority of that business is handled at the nearby Starmantle. Cedarspoke has never in any way been occupied by an invading force.
The religious significance of Cedarsproke draws many pilgrims each year, along with adventurers seeking knowledge at the Earthome College. Along these lines Cedarspoke contains most of the complete histories of the Vilhon Reach and surrounding lands.
This influx of travelers has caused several inns to be founded in Cedarspoke. Among these are The Hoe, a seedy tavern near the lake and the Silver Scythe, a high-quality inn near a temple dedicated to Silvanus.

[edit] Government and politics
The city is ruled by the druid Zalaznar Crinios who goes to great lengths to avoid any possible complicated relations with the Emerald Enclave. While Zalaznar does not always agree with their activities, he does not go against the organization as that would weaken the region. This dynamic has placed Cedarspoke in more of a neutral relationship with the Enclave.
[edit] Inhabitants
Druids or folk looking for a simple life are typically found in Cedarsproke.
[edit] Ancient texts
An ancient text of Mystryl refers to Cedarsproke as the "Garden of Eldath".[1]
