A highly skilled assassin, Damien would journey across Faerûn to hunt down his victims.
He was known for being opportunistic in battle, and he always tried to benefit from the assets of his enemies. One such battle saw him barely survive against a group of ghouls. In a bid to improve his chances during subsequent battles, he skinned one of them and had the hide magically enchanted to provide heightened protection against the ghoul's signature paralyzing attack.
He never refused a contract, bar one. Damien was at one stage approached by an individual known as the Dockman and asked to assassinate the legendary drow warrior Drizzt Do'Urden. He first refused, knowing of Drizzt's superior battle prowess. However, the next day, the Dockman gifted him with an enchanted dagger called Risktaker, which, unbeknownst to Damien, impaired his reasoning and judgment, and he was soon persuaded otherwise. In time, Damien was killed by Drizzt's companions, never even reaching him.
Damien is one of the pre-generated PCs in the game Neverwinter Nights: Hordes of the Underdark. However, it wouldn't actually be consistent for him to appear in that story as the description for Risktaker tells of his death prior to its start.
