Darklands

The Darklands lie underneath the heart of Faerûn and form an important domain of the Underdark. On the surface lies the Dragon Coast, portions of the Orsraun Mountains and Turmish. This vast subterrean realm stretches all the way from Cairnheim (the realm of the Dodkong) in the west to the foul warrens of Traaskl Thorog beneath Chessenta in the east.

The great duergar city of Dunspeirrin is the most powerful stronghold in the region. It must be noted that the duergar control only a relatively small part of the Darklands due to the sheer size of the region.
