Datchas was the common name for datolite in the Realms.[2]
Description
This semi-precious stone was cut into faceted gems of very pale yellowish green if of the fine variety. Massive datchas colored by copper and other minerals was found in the form of warty nodules up to 10 in (25 cm) in diameter. Such nodules range from white to red, reddish brown, and orange (the most valuable gems were orange), and were usually cut cabochon or sliced and polished for inlay work. Pink datchas was also called a "sugar stone". A typical stone had a base value of 50 gp.[2]
