Day of the Darkening is the eighteenth issue of the Advanced Dungeons & Dragons comics series set in the Forgotten Realms and published by DC Comics. It was written by Dan Mishkin, drawn by Jan Duursema, and edited by Elliot S. Maggin. It was the second part of "Kyriani's Story", which explored the nature of Kyriani, beginning with "The Ostus Legacy".

SynopsisEdit

The half-elf, Kyriani, the only one with the necessary heritage to stop a coming evil, has been split into her two halves. The timid Cybriana and the sinister Drow, Kilili. If she is to save the Realms from a horrible fate she'll have to be merged back together once more. The results are not what anyone expected. Is this new form the half-elf carries a force for good or an agent of evil?
