Drace was an herb produced from the leafs of the bittergar bush, a small thistle-like shrub which grew all over Faerûn with the exception of mountainous or desert regions. Raw drace was too bitter to consume but when cooked it lost its bitterness and, when added to a pot, could enhance the flavor of other foods. This herb was one of the ingredients of Spellslayer wine.[1]
