It is extremely lightweight without compromising it's protection. The mithral gives the armor a blue tint.
AppearancesEditIn the game Baldur's Gate, the player can find Drizzt whilst he is fighting gnolls. If strong enough, the player and his party can in fact kill Drizzt. On looting Drizzt's body in the game, the player finds his armor and his two scimitars. The armor, referred to as mithral chain mail +4, is some of the best available in the game. The armor is a dark blue. The in-game description claims the armor was built by Bruenor Battlehammer.
Unfortunately, if the player imports a character into Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn who has previously killed Drizzt, he will reappear, extremely hostile.
