The Emperor's Quarters served as the palace of the Emperor of the Lotus Throne in the Yikarian Empire in 1367 DR.[note 1][1]

The Emperor's Quarters made-up a a full quarter of the size of the capital city of Nathong.[1]

Since yak-folk cities resembled large buildings compared to the traditional layout of most cities found on Toril, the Emperor's Quarters was actually just a large chunk of the city as a whole. Thousands of dwarven slaves toiled to enhance the beauty of that area of the city and display the Emperor's wealth.[1]
