Fear was a necromancy spell that caused subjects to flee.

EffectEdit

An invisible cone of terror caused living creatures to become panicked. They suffered a morale penalty, and they fled from the caster. A panicked creature had a 50% chance to drop what it’s holding, chose its path randomly, and fled any other dangers that confronted it. If cornered, a panicked creature cowered.

Material componentEdit

Either the heart of a hen or a white feather.

HistoryEdit

The spell was attributed to Netherese arcanist Keonid in -1875 DR and was originally known as Keonid's fear.[1]
