Feeblemind was a powerful enchantment spell that reduced a person's intelligence and personality to almost nothing.[7]

Arcane spellcasters were quite vulnerable to the effects of this spell,[3] which were hard to remove.[3]

The Netherese arcanist Hamring was given the credit for the creation of this spell in -1293 DR.[1]

Feeblemind was a common spell in the Realms after 1358 DR.[8]
