- Well again and welcome to the Forgotten Realms Wiki, which is dedicated to the long-running fantasy world created by Ed Greenwood and expanded by countless others and the central setting for Dungeons & Dragons. Come in, grab a bite and a drink, warm yourself by the fire, and read and explore this vast world of ours.
- BadCatMan mounted a Steppe horse and explored the Plain of Horses, first heading down the Anai River with the good graces of the local god and stopping in Peqqir for the Festival of Spirits, before joining the Guychiang pilgrims to Mount Or-Ghash. But after journeying south, he had a hard time in the harsh, divided city of Haxkhun and was ambushed by the club-wielding Igidujin tribe. Fortunately, Steppe horses run very fast and for a very long time.
- Meanwhile, Regis87 explored Kozakura, first taking in the sights in the imperial capital of Dojyu and then heading to the coastal villages of Miyama Province, including Gomen with its shipbuilding industry; Hiwasa, home to deep-sea pearl diving women; and Kabe, where the people struggle to support a military base. But in Kan-oji she found a village in decline, its abandoned buildings home to monsters that after dark preyed upon unwary tourists and wiki editors.
- Ruf67 had to don a mantle of spell resistance and the armor called Reaper's Embrace in order to deal with dark forces and necrotic energy when investigating Far Realm mutates around Phandalin, the dark planetar known as the Winged in Thay, the fanatical Cult of Voldini at the Temple of the Yuir Gods in Aglarond, and finally the githyanki Lich-Queen Vlaakith I herself. Remember, that is not dead which can eternal lie…
- In Ravens Bluff, Artyom.pavlov dined at the Tavern of the Garden, wine sausage, chocolate-covered peanuts, and a glass of Silverymoon Blue white wine. Looking for more, he went to the Morden Winery but was struck stone-cold by its new owner—the greater medusa Samanthiss. Fortunately, with his scrying glass, he identified her medallion of proof and wine box of holding and received a bottle of the local red in reward.
- We say well met to Navaja46, who told the Myth of the Four Rivers; Seemingly-clever, who gossiped about the sons of Alustriel, nicknamed the Tall Ones; and Pankasdm, who whispered of the vampire Gulthias, namesake of the notorious tree.
- In our Legacy of the Green Regent campaign, the treasure is in hand, but whose? It's grapple checks galore as we fight for the shard of the Fallen One!
- This time in Juniper's Companion to Venturesome Cookery, our own Juniper Churlgo (brought to us by Artyom) stews up a Kedgeree in Green Simmersauce from Tethyr for a highsunfeast.
- Until next, may your sword be ever wet, and your bottom dry, as the Inner Sea pirates say (really).

The use of runes for writing dated back to the beginning of recorded history in Faerûn. One example of the spread of Dethek use was between the gold dwarves of the Great Rift and the people of Unther. Close association and trade led to the adoption of Dethek for recording the Untheric language. The Dethek system of writing went on to become the most widespread and popular runic script by the 14th century DR.

- The Triton Protectorates was a trio of triton city-states in the Sea of Fallen Stars: Ahlorsath, Pumanath, and Vuuvaxath. The Protectorates were often thought of as a collective unit by outsiders, but were actually completely independent entities—albeit with similar government, religion, and demographics.
- The Golden Lodge was a temple to Waukeen, the Mistress of Coin, in Lonelywood, one of the Ten Towns of Icewind Dale. Its clergy, led by Quinn Silverfinger, worked to aid and promote businesses in the area and encourage trade, all the while providing all the regular services of a temple.
- Jhaax Dolbruin was a ranger and adventurer until he had his career—and his left hand—cut short by a vorpal blade-wielding thief. He wound up working as a bartender in the Yawning Portal, where he pined for Durnan's daughter Tamsil despite her being half his age.
- Gariskar Dauntinghorn was a nobleman of Cormyr who somewhat resembled an old sea lion. One of his rivals, Marlin Stormserpent, once paid an artist to follow Gariskar around and paint his portrait, which would then help two blueflame ghosts identify and kill Gariskar.
- A sohar was a type of ship commonly used in Calimshan to ship goods. On average, these ships were up to 90 feet long with a tonnage of 100 tons, roughly comparable to a cog, though sohars were much faster and more maneuverable.
- A tome of the north wind was a magic book that held the power of elemental ice, causing it to always be coated in a thin layer of frost. A wizard's primary use for such a tome, aside from serving as a spellbook, was to empower any ice magic channeled through it.
- Awaken sin was a spell used by Silverhair Knights of Eilistraee that confronted evildoers, particularly drow, with the consequences of their malevolent actions in a stark and somewhat disconcerting manner, causing them to experience overwhelming psychological distress.
