Barbara G. Young is an editor who has worked on several game products and articles for Dungeons & Dragons. She was an assistant editor on Dragon and Dungeon magazines from 1987 to 1995.
Personal Life[]
Young graduated with a double major in English and linguistics at Northeastern Illinois University. Young chose linguistics to pursue her interest in turning thought into language and the possibilities of communication with other life forms. While studying Young was exposed to science fiction and fantasy, which led to her finding the Dungeons and Dragons hobby.[1] Although she is now retired, Young still occasionally accepts freelance editing and web content consultant work.[2]
