Fochu was the main city of Fochu Peninsula in Wa. It was a violent and corrupt city. Usually the shogun assigned his least skilled administrators there.[2]
Description
The city was surrounded by arid plains and infertile farmland. It inhabitants worked in fishing and weaving.[1]
