Just wondering if anyone knows if Tressyms are trademarked? – 96.54.68.44

I would assume tressym are, because they're specific to D&D and apparently created by Ed Greenwood. However, basic winged cats are common in cryptozoology and mythology, so they should not be. For v.3.5, only a limited list of monsters in the core three D&D books are considered product identity by Wizards of the Coast. These are:
But outside of the three core rulebooks, any monster introduced in a non-OGL book could be considered product identity of WotC, including tressym.
As BadCatMan, just have flying cats; name them something else.
