Ok so I just noticed that with the new Wizard web page name all the links to the old pages all lead to a error page with this beautiful background image. This problem seams to also go to the google web crawlers whom have not found the new pages yet... So what we have now seams to be a wide spread critical error on all wizard links and from what I can tell... there is no more gallery's for the old books, like the monster manuals and so forth. What do we do now :(?

I got that today on the old Consolidated Lists pages. :(

They've revamped their website yet again, so I suppose we just wait and see if they return. Either the old links will be restored, or new links will be created. They maintained the old 3rd edition pages from 2000 until this, so hopefully they do keep the legacy pages available, if not easy to find. I'm glad I downloaded all the FR articles, though losing the nice gallery images will be hard on the wiki.

Huh. Images I hotlinked from the gallery for my online games are still visible, so they're still there, just not listed. See this from the Cormyr: The Tearing of the Weave gallery, for example.

Hmm interesting... its seams that the direct links works, we can still work with this right? Hmm for some of the images that I added the gallery for I also added the direct link and they seam to work. Hmm there is still the Cachad... (Linking the cachad breaks forum post template :S?)

I'm not sure what your link looks like, but as a general rule you cannot use an equals sign (=) in a forum post because it thinks you are specifying an argument to the Forum post template.

ok so here it is:
http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:5OHSGAZ8wHwJ:www.wizards.com/default.asp%3Fx%3Ddnd/ag/20060308a%26page%3D2+&cd=3&hl=sv&ct=clnk&gl=se&client=opera
sorry for the long link, here the explanation google seams to save a cachad of pages that can be accessed by pressing the tiny green down ward arrow that is at the end of the green html name. If any one is interested...

This is bad. If anyone can get to cached pages of the D&D archives (the 3.5 archive feature was sooo nice), I would download them to your computer right away. WotC has put a "Deny" robots.txt on everything that started with www.wizards.com/dnd/ so it seems we have lost a great resource :'(

Edit: This still seems to work, because of the default.asp server page: http://web.archive.org/web/20140219065031/http://wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/archives but who knows for how long?

Movie, I tried your link, but got the "robots" message when I tried to open a Rand article :(

how about this type of thing? http://archive.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/arch/ag&page=2 just a "Archive" instead of "www"?

Works for me! It looks like even finally put a few new galleries in. Now I need to update my bookmarks...

Great find Terrorblades! My heart sunk when I thought we had lost all those links....like a library had just burnt down.

Haha, hay no prob ;)! The Library has just been... I don't know how to continue the analogy.
