Gana Bay was nestled in the southeast corner of west Zakhara in the Pearl Cities in 1367 DR.[note 1][1][2]

Gana Bay measured approximately 30 miles (48 km) wide by 60 miles (96 km) in length, forming a roughly rectangular shape.[1][2]

The bay offered natural protection to the important trade city of Gana from the storms of the northern reaches of the Crowded Sea. It was filled with run-off from Al-Sabiya River.[1][2]
