Gantar Kraok was an aquatic elf tyrant in Serôs in 1370 DR.[1]

PersonalityEdit

Gantar was one of the most ruthless, manipulative person on Toril. He thank to equal part of determination, arrogance, and foresight, created very complex plans where he double-crossed foes and allies. He always escaped if understood that he had lose. He truly believed that elves must ruled the world, and he was the perfect coronal.[1]

HistoryEdit

Gantar Kraok formed the Saratycoron, a group with the objective to made the elves rulers of the world. For this ideas he was exiled from Selu’'Maraar during the Eleventh Serôs War.[1]

During that conflict he found and used as weapon the Alatorin Scepter.[2]

At one point Gantar discovered the Librarian, a living kiira situated in the Hall of Living Memory in a ruined elven city[3] and thank to the Librarian around 1370 Gantar recovered also the lost Wyrmskull Throne and and planned to recover all the remaining lost Scepters of Shanatar.

Thank to his schemes Gantar discovered that agents of Inselm Hhune had recovered the Sondarr Scepter and send his agent Estelar Sunweaver to monitor the situation waiting for the right time to act, using the Throne's powers to claim for him the Scepter.[1]

He also allied with the morkoth arcount Axar Xyrl in exchange for the promise to gain a copy of the "Tome of Tujar the Dark Adherent".[4]

On the night of Uktar 10 after the brawl in the Blue Badger's Inn in the village of Toralth in Tethyr Bapar Ghalmrin recovered the Scepter from the Inselm's agents Gantar decided was the right time to act: using his ring of telekinesis he teleported the scepter to him in Seros, alongside Bapar's party. Quickly Gantar seized the scepter and teleported away.[5]

Later pursued by the dwarves and others surface-dwellers Gantar first sent a sea hag disguised as himself[6]

After if need he sent his morkoth allies to organize an ambush. Later in the fighting he too, together with arcount Axar Xyrl, entered in battle. However Gantar no cared to hit the morkoth and when Axar Xyrl and Duupox confronted the elf about Gantar insulted everyone on the place and teleported away.[7]

Then Gantar hid in his well-protected lair, the Hall of Living Memory, a forgotten elven ruin housing the living kiira Librarian.[8]
