Lord Geldirth was head of the Geldirth house of Waterdeep, whose main trade was traditionally caravan mustering.[1]

Geldirth's second son and heir was Lord Harthar.[1]

In 1219 DR, Geldirth attempted to increase the family earnings by branching out into direct trading, over and above the existing caravan mustering business.[1]
