They typically patrolled inside the walls of Waterdeep in groups of four, with two patrolpersons, one sergeant, and one captain or lieutenant.[1][2]
Possessions[]
Circa 1357 DR, civilars of the City Watch typically had the standard City Watch kit of leather and chain armor, short swords, daggers, and sturdy rods like clubs.[1]
Circa 1372 DR, in addition to their uniform, civilars were outfitted in a +1 chain shirt, with a steel light shield, and carried a +1 short sword and masterwork club. They also possessed a potion of cure light wounds and an amulet of the watch.[2]
