Ghaliver Longstocking was the halfling ruler of Westbridge in 1370 DR.[1]

Ghaliver was a very able businessman: he possessed a farmer's market, a stockyard, a walled grain warehouse complex and an inn in Westbridge, and a few houses in Waterdeep. His goal was to find a means to protect himself in the years ahead.[1]

Ghaliver was a charming individual, and was always working on new schemes. He was a good judge of others. His dream was to rule the North but by 1370 DR he had attracted only the attentions of the Zhentarim and similar groups.[1]
