Let the enemies of my lord and my god fall before my might. I am his chosen, and I shall let none stand who dare oppose his will!
  — Netheris Ket, glorious servitor of Sebek[1]

To quote Lost Empires of Faerûn, "glorious servitors are exceptionally loyal and devout servants of the Mulhorandi gods. Exalted above most mortals, a glorious servitor strives to live an exemplary life that embodies her deity's beliefs and values. She has many rivals and enemies both inside and outside her deity's cult, but she welcomes any challenge that gives her an opportunity to demonstrate her faithfulness and dedication."

Similar in some respects to the divine champion, glorious servitors gain no additional spells, but do gain several useful powers and spell-like abilities, including being able to transform into their deity's favored animal. They are required to be humans, tieflings, or devas, and must be from Mulhorand.[2]

[edit] Background

The majority of glorious servitors come from the ranks of paladins, clerics, fighters, and monks throughout Mulhorand. Of these, most are paladins and clerics because of their religious knowledge and easy access to the level of divine spells required. Rangers and multiclass monks also occasionally follow this path, though it can take time for them to develop the required knowledge and diplomatic skills.

Others were once multiclass rogues or mages. Rogues and rogue/assassins typically serve Set, while arcane spellcasters often follow Thoth.[1]

[edit] Unfaithful Servitors

Like paladins, clerics, and similar classes, glorious servitors must follow the orders and code of conduct laid down by their deity. Willful violation results in the servitor being stripped of their class abilities and ability to advance. They can regain them by atoning for their sins, or by changing their allegiance to another deity in the Mulhorandi pantheon (which results in the eternal enmity of your previous church).[3]
