These small bushes had reddish-purple berries and dark green leaves that almost appeared black but had a silver underside.[1]
Uses
Goblinberries could be use as an astringent, but were so strong that they often caused suffocation. Because of this they were classified as a poison. However, diluted with enough water and added to sugar or honey, these berries made a tasty drink.[1]
