Drow hand crossbows are feared weapons, they are small enough to fit inside of a pocket. They usually contain a knock-out poison. Drizzt Do'Urden pretended to have one in his pocket and made a duergar give him information, threatening to shoot him with a hand crossbow. They are not very powerful therefore they are only used to shoot poison at enemies.
