A headband of the Binder was a magic item created by bards[1] of Oghma, the Binder of What is Known.[3] It could also be known as a headband of the lorebinder.[2]

This item was a metal circlet of blue-green hue with the symbol of Oghma, a blank scroll, embossed on the front.[1][2]

The wearer of a headband of the Binder was able to read magic three times a day. This item was created by bards, and if the wearer was a bard, it also greatly increased the retention and recall of bardic knowledge.[1][2] It also did the same for loremasters and the lore they studied.[2]
