Heavy mace

A heavy mace is the natural development of the club and made completely out of metal. This makes it a heavy, but difficult to break weapon. The head of the weapon is often flanged in order to break through heavy armour, for which it is a highly efficient weapon. Mounted horsemen often use maces with slightly longer hafts for just this purpose. The weapon is often found in the hands of adventurers from Cormyr, the Savage Frontier and Vaasa.
