Hojo Kamuri was a former shogun of Kozakura in 1357 DR.[1]

HistoryEdit

Kamuri ruled as shogun until retired in favor of his son and become a monk at Namikami Temple under the name of Bentori. However his grandson Hojo Todahiro lost the Hojo war in 1349 DR. In 1355 DR Kamuri become a leader inside the temple because the patriarch Futoro injured and soon he took the role of planner of drill of the local Sohei armies.[2] Soon they pledged loyalty to him. He supported his great-grandson Hojo Kawakubo in his plots to undermine Takenaka Okawa.[1]

PersonalityEdit

Kamuri was an able samurai known for his archery skills. However he look like an ordinary monk by those unfamiliar with him.[1]
