Hundred Lotus was a sutra that would cause pain to an evil spirit.


In the Year of the Helm, 1362 DR, the lama Koja of Khazari chanted the Hundred Lotus sutra when confronted by a mysterious woman with a magical feast, to test if she was an evil spirit. It had no effect, however, for she was neither an evil nor a spirit.[1]
