Japheth Donard is a warlock[1] of a fey pact with the archfey Neifion.[2]

AppearanceEdit

Japheth has black hair and black eyes. He is almost always seen wearing his mysterious cloak, which seems to have strange powers itself. [3]

HistoryEdit

Japheth Donard was an acolyte librarian at Candlekeep.[4]It was at Candlekeep that he found the book Fey Pacts of Ancient Days[5]He summoned Neifion to save him from the death that traveler's dust brings.[6]Neifion sealed the Fey Pact with an emerald pendant.[7]

Japheth is an agent of Behroun Marhana[3] who hired thieves to steal the emerald pendant.[8]

In 1396 DR Malyanna destroyed his fey pact stone.[9] Japheth subsequently lost his fey-granted powers and then made a pact with the elder evil Caiphon, becoming a star-pact warlock.

RelationshipsEdit

Japheth is quite taken by the young woman Anusha Marhana. At first denying the relationship due to his past, and present situation, he comes to realize Anusha has claimed his heart.[10]

AbilitiesEdit

MiscellaneousEdit

Japheth is addicted to traveler's dust.[15]
