Jolen Firth was the First Speaker of Nesmé in the late 15th century.[1]

DescriptionEdit

Jolen was a sturdy man.[2] He was quite reasonable, in comparison to his forefathers.[3]

RelationshipsEdit

Jolen Firth's grandfather's grandfather (great-great-grandfather) was Galen Firth, another prominent man in the history of the city.[4]

HistoryEdit

In 1484 DR, Jolen Firth was serving as the First Speaker of Nesmé when his city was cast under siege by the orcs of the Kingdom of Many-Arrows. The Companions of the Hall aided him and his forces in defending the city, but soon after the Companions' departure, the city was overcome by the orc forces and the white dragon Arauthator. All but 600 of the inhabitants were killed; the rest were taken prisoner. The drow Tiago and Saribel Baenre were named Duke and Duchess of Nesme.[3]
