Kanaglym (pronounced: /ˈkɑːnɑːglɪm/ KAN-ah-glim[1]) was an abandoned dwarven town. Located entirely underground and reachable by a series of caves located under Dragonspear Castle, the town was the site of the Fountain of Nepenthe, a watery portal to the Fugue Plane.
History
The town was built when the High Moor was warm and fertile. However, a year after construction was completed, the town well ran dry. The well shaft was deepened and eventually struck water. However the source of this water was actually the Waters of Forgetfulness. A month later the town was abandoned.[2]
