Luposhinxes were sphinxes with the heads of wolves, found in wooded areas.
Description
The luposphinx's body was about 7 ft (2.1 m) in length, closest in size to the hieracosphinx. Luposphinxes had canine heads, but like all sphinxes they had feline bodies. The hair on its body ranged from dark gray to light brown.
Behavior
Luposphinxes were carnivores and had a taste for elves and halflings over other humanoid prey. Luposphinxes sometimes liked to travel with humanoid servants.[1]
Combat
The luposphinx usually howled once before a battle to disorient its foes, then began with melee attacks.[1]
