Miyagi-ko was the concubine of Funada Toyoo in Nakamaru around 1357 DR.[1]


Miyagi-ko was the mother of Toyoo’s favorite son, having so a great amount of power inside Toyoo's household, more than Toyoo’s First Wife. She was carefully to destroy any possible rivals[1]


Miyagi-ko became Toyoo's concubine in 1340 DR when she was only seventeen.[1] In 1357 her son became focus of the rivalry between Toyoo and his brother the daimyo Funada Mitsuhide [2]


Miyagi-ko was graceful and charming. Her greatest fear was that her son will lose Toyoo’s favor. She constantly watching to avoid this[1]
