Nalfein, the first son of Matron Mother Malice Do'Urden and Rizzen, was a drow wizard and elderboy of House Do'Urden. He often helped the house in battles.
During their attack on House DeVir, while Malice was giving birth to Drizzt, Nalfein was tricked and killed by his brother Dinin. He was accepted as an appropriate sacrifice instead of Drizzt that night, saving the young baby's life.
