Oey Sambal Pedas was the sultan of Kilap Valley in Shou Lung in 1358 DR. He ruled over the Laska people.[1]

Oey Sambal Pedas of Kilap Valley loved stories and storytelling games and always tried to find a a good opportunity for a game.

In 1358 DR, during a hunt, Oey Sambal Pedas met an adventuring party hired by the Emperor of Shou Lung to find General Goyat Nagumo, and challenged them to a storytelling game. The adventurers had to guess if a story told by the sultan was true or false and vice versa. After some stories, he said goodbye to the adventurers.[1]
