Osamu Muraoka was a samurai who ran a posthouse in Kozakura and also a jito in 1357 DR.
In a posthouse at the strategic entrance to the pass through the Kurisammyaku, he led a company of thirty samurai and four hundred bushi.
Osamu was a loyal follower of Takenaka Okawa and did not much like the Niwa clan. The shikken put Osamu at the posthouse to keep a watch over Niwa Hirotada.
