Present Age

The Present Age is generally accepted to start in the year 1357 DR which was the year that the Forgotten Realms Campaign Set started at.
A huge number of events have been documented since, most notably the Time of Troubles, the changes within the Zhentarim, The chaos in Cormyr following the Goblin War, the return of the Shade enclave, the War of the Spider Queen, The Rage of Dragons, the opening of the City of Hope and the births and deaths of several deities and influential Realms figures.
